The Good Hope Virtual Museum is another tool for the struggle of the Traditional Peoples and Communities that inhabit the Lagoas do Norte region of Teresina, serving as a digital platform for the physical Museum that is rooted in the territory.

The existence of the Museum of Good Hope is also a tactic of resistance to the threats of deterritorialization created by the community movement Lagoas do Norte Pra Quem?.

The Museum of Good Hope is managed by the Ferreira de Sousa Defense Center Association, an entity representing families in threats of removal, in partnership with several other organizations.
